PHAN CHAU TRINH UNIVERSITY SIGNS PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH BOND UNIVERSITY (AUSTRALIA): OPENING NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION IN MEDICAL EDUCATION
On October 25, 2025, Phan Chau Trinh University (PCTU) and Bond University (Australia) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a new chapter in the international relationship between the two prestigious educational institutions. This signing ceremony not only marks a significant milestone in PCTU’s journey of international integration but also represents a major step in enhancing the quality of education and research in the fields of medicine and health sciences.
Under the terms of the MOU, Bond University will send 24 students annually to PCTU for internships and collaborative research programs in the fields of medicine, nursing, and health sciences. At the same time, PCTU will also send students to study and conduct research at Bond University, offering them the opportunity to experience a modern, innovative educational environment and broaden their global perspectives.
This partnership goes beyond just student exchange programs. The two universities have agreed to implement a wide range of academic activities, including clinical experience programs for medical students, faculty and researcher exchanges, the development of joint academic projects, and the co-organization of scientific workshops and cultural events. The agreement also includes the establishment of a credit recognition and student transfer system between the two universities, making it easier for students to learn from and gain experience in different educational systems.



Exploring PCTU’s State-of-the-Art Facilities
Before the signing ceremony, the delegation from Bond University visited PCTU from October 23 to 25, 2025. During this visit, the delegation toured PCTU’s modern facilities, particularly the Pre-clinical Skills Simulation Hospital, one of the university’s standout features in medical education. This five-story simulation hospital, with over 70 practice rooms equipped with the latest medical technology, provides students with the opportunity to practice clinical skills in the most realistic environment, closely mimicking real hospitals.
Additionally, the delegation visited the Medical Museum, Digital Library, and various teaching hospitals within PCTU’s system. These visits not only gave the Bond delegation a deeper understanding of PCTU’s educational infrastructure but also provided a platform for discussing the potential for collaboration in medical research and clinical training.

Representatives from Bond University commended PCTU’s training capabilities, particularly its modern facilities and medical education model that aligns with international standards.
